1 man killed, 2 others wounded in west Phoenix shooting

PHOENIX — One man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting in west Phoenix on Wednesday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to a shooting call near Indian School Road and 83rd Avenue, in the Maryvale neighborhood, around 8:15 p.m., the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.
They found 18-year-old Aaron Joseph Hernandez with gunshot wounds. Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police located another man with gunshot wounds in the area. That victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that aren’t life-threatening.
A third man involved in the incident was dropped off at a hospital with injuries that aren’t life-threatening, police said.
