Arrest warrant issued for suspect in fatal August shooting in Phoenix

PHOENIX — An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect in a double-shooting that left a woman dead in Phoenix last year, authorities said Wednesday.
Turrail Lightfoot, 44, is wanted in the August death of 37-year-old Latoya Davis, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.
Police said Lightfoot fled to Lincoln, Nebraska, soon after the shooting.
A grand jury issued a warrant for Lightfoot’s arrest on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault, police said.
Lightfoot is accused of shooting Davis and a 35-year-old woman at the intersection of 25th and Adams streets on Aug. 25.

Both victims were taken to a hospital. Davis later died of her injuries. The other woman survived.
A reward of up to $2,000 is available for information leading to Lightfoot’s arrest.
The suspect is 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
