PHOENIX — Madonna is heading to Phoenix this summer as part of a global greatest hits tour spanning the dance-pop icon’s four-decade career.
The superstar’s 35-city Celebration Tour stops at Footprint Center on July 22.
Tickets and VIP packages go on sale to the general public Jan. 27 at 10 a.m.
Bob the Drag Queen will be on board as the opening act throughout the tour, which kicks off July 15 in Vancouver. The Phoenix show is the third stop.
Madonna has amassed 38 top-10 smashes on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Twelve of them hit No. 1, including classics such as “Like A Virgin,” “Like A Prayer,” “Papa Don’t Preach” and “Vogue.”
Cited by Guinness World Records as the best-selling female artist of all time, Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
The Material Girl hasn’t been on the road since her Madame X theater tour wrapped up in early 2020.
She hasn’t performed in Arizona since a 2015 show at Gila River Arena (now Desert Diamond Arena) in Glendale, according to Setlist.fm.
