Hilton opens hotel and event center in Scottsdale’s Cavasson development
PHOENIX — A luxury hotel opened in north Scottsdale last week, bringing resort-style features and a top-floor event space.
The Hilton at Cavasson is located near the Loop 101 Pima Freeway and Hayden Road.
“The timing of our grand opening couldn’t be better with the upcoming Super Bowl LVII, NCAA Final Four and Waste Management Open all converging on the greater Phoenix market in 2023,” Sally Shaffer, general manager at the Hilton at Cavasson, said in the release.
“The hotel has so much to offer local, regional and national visitors — from our unparalleled views, elevated food and beverage options, a large conference space for corporate events and elegant spaces for social gatherings of all sizes.”
The six-story building includes 237 guest rooms, a top-floor event space and terrace that overlooks the McDowell Mountains and a resort-style swimming pool, according to a press release.
The 15,000-square-foot event space will serve as a venue for weddings, corporate events and conferences, group meetings and other social affairs.
At the hotel, guests will have access to a coffee shop and fitness center, while also getting the chance to dine at the gastropub within the hotel.
Desert Pony Tavern, a Southwest-inspired bar and restaurant, features an open-air style dining experience merged with the hotel’s pool.
Menu favorites include the tavern stack burger, honey-dipped chicken sandwich and the prime fillet served with prickly pear and ancho chili sauce.
Reservations can be made online.
