PHOENIX — Metro Phoenix drivers will have to contend with closures on Interstate 17, U.S. 60 and Loop 303 this weekend, according to state transportation officials.

In north Phoenix, southbound I-17 will be closed from Greenway Road to Northern Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a pavement improvement project.

The Loop 101 ramps to southbound I-17 and I-17 on-ramps at Deer Valley Road/Rose Garden Lane, Union Hills Drive and Bell Road will also be closed.

In Mesa, eastbound U.S. 60 will be closed from the Loop 101 Price Freeway to Dobson Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a pavement improvement project.

All Loop 101 ramps to U.S. 60 will be closed during that time.

In the north Valley, westbound Loop 303 will be closed from Interstate 17 to Lake Pleasant Parkway from 4 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday for new interchange construction.

Finally, Interstate 10 will be restricted in two portions of the Valley.

Near downtown Phoenix, I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes in both directions from 3 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday for bridge construction.

The southbound State Route 143 ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday as part of the closure.

In Buckeye, the eastbound I-10 off- and on-ramps at Watson Road will be closed for a month starting Friday at 9 p.m. for construction as part of an interchange reconstruction.
