PHOENIX — A woman died and three others were injured after a man suspected of DUI drove the wrong way on a Scottsdale road and caused a collision on Friday evening, authorities said.

Joshua Grabek, 48, is accused of driving his 2013 Subaru Legacy southbound in the northbound lanes on Hayden Road at about 7 p.m. when he hit a rideshare vehicle near Cactus Road, according to court documents.

The rideshare vehicle, carrying a driver and two occupants, was pushed back about 20 feet following the crash.

The three people in the rideshare vehicle and Grabek were taken to a hospital for their injuries.

Dawn Paugh, a longtime Bonneville employee, was pronounced dead at the hospital. She was 58.

Her husband, 60-year-old Tom Paugh, and the driver of the rideshare vehicle, a 56-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.

A GoFundMe has been set up to support the Paugh family.

Grabek suffered minor injuries and following his release from the hospital was arrested on one count of manslaughter, one count of aggravated DUI with wrong-way driving, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of endangerment.

Grabek had a .179 blood alcohol content when a breathalyzer test was conducted about an hour after the collision, according to court documents.

His next court appearance will be Thursday before a preliminary hearing is held on Monday.
