Santa to deliver comfortable highs, clear skies in Phoenix over Christmas weekend

PHOENIX — There won’t be any worries about precipitation or any other winter weather woes for those spending Christmas weekend in Phoenix.
Santa will deliver high temperatures topping out in the low 70s with clear skies over the long weekend in Arizona’s capital city, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday is forecast to top out at 67 degrees before a high of 68 degrees on Christmas Eve on Saturday.

Christmas on Sunday will see 70 degrees for the high, while Monday’s high is forecast to be 72 degrees.
Lows will hover in the mid 40s throughout the weekend.
Those traveling north for the holiday will be greeted with slightly cooler temperatures but also won’t have to worry about any precipitation.
Flagstaff’s Christmas Eve high is forecast to be 48 degrees, while Christmas will see a high of 51 degrees.
Sedona will reach 61 degrees on Saturday before a forecast high of 64 degrees on Christmas.
Finally, Prescott’s forecast high on Christmas Eve is 56 degrees. The high will reach 61 degrees on Christmas.
