PHOENIX – Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and rap icon Snoop Dogg are teaming up for a Super Bowl festival of music, carnival games and celebrities at Shaq’s Fun House in Scottsdale.
Presales for the Feb. 10 event at Talking Stick Resort begin Thursday at 10 a.m. Arizona time. General public tickets go on sale Friday at the same time.
“It’s been amazing to see the growth of the Fun House over the last five years and we’re excited to bring it to the people of Phoenix. We continue to set the standard for fun,” O’Neal said in a press release.
Prices to see what the website called the “most over-the-top event” of Super Bowl weekend, start at $249.99 with a six-hour open bar and complimentary dining experiences.
Tickets climb tiers that reach $12,999 for VIP all-inclusive with extra perks such as access to the big man’s lounge and premium seating.
VIP table pricing boasts onstage seating for $50,000.
A “megastructure” will go up beside the resort near Loop 101 Pima Freeway and Talking Stick Way that will have rides and midway-style games, the press release said.
The event started in March 2018 but eventually moved to coincide with Super Bowl weekend in the host city.
Popular deejay and producer Diplo is also on the bill as is the basketball legend’s son, DJ Myles O’Neal.
The older O’Neal has also signed up his own alter ego, DJ Diesel to perform. The set will be livestreamed.
A sweepstakes will feature roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations for two, according to the release.
The Super Bowl will kick off Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
