PHOENIX – The subject of a Silver Alert issued overnight was found safe Monday morning, authorities in Mesa said.

Eddie Adler, 85, who was visiting the Valley, was located in New Mexico, the Mesa Police Department said.

Adler had last been seen around 7 p.m. Saturday at the hotel where he was staying near Southern Avenue and Power Road, police said.

He left a hotel driving a dark gray 2013 Hyundai Sonata, Nevada license plate PHB0242.

Family members contacted police after not hearing from Adler, a diabetic, for an extended period.

He was found by the Santa Ana Pueblo Police Department.

Adler was taken to a hospital but was all right, police said.
