PHOENIX – Avondale will kick off a month of holiday festivities Saturday night with WinterFest.

The free event, with food available for purchase, runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Avondale Civic Center outdoor amphitheater.

WinterFest will feature photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, rides, a tree lighting ceremony and other family-friendly activities and entertainment.
