Sedona landscape hotel taking reservations, set to welcome first guests

Nov 29, 2022, 4:15 AM | Updated: 7:24 am

PHOENIX – North America’s first landscape hotel is set to welcome its first guests amid the red rocks of Sedona early next year.

Ambiente, a Landscape Hotel, began taking reservations earlier this month, with the first availability on Feb. 1.

Rates start at $1,800 per night, and guests must be 21 or older.

Landscape hotels are designed to mesh with their surroundings and highlight the natural beauty while minimizing environmental impact.

Instead of traditional hotel rooms, Ambiente Sedona features 40 elevated atriums over 3 acres just north of State Highway 89A.

Each 576-square-foot unit has floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the view and a private rooftop deck with a fire pit.

Other amenities include the Velvet Spa, Forty1 restaurant and a pool.

Sedona-based Two Sister Bosses developed the project and owns and operates the hotel.

“This has been a labor of love for our family over the past five years and we have been so overwhelmed by the outpouring of interest and support from future visitors around the world,” Jennifer May, co-founder of Two Sister Bosses, said in a press release.

“We’re now ready to pull back the curtain and showcase what we believe is one of the most spectacular settings in all of America.”

We want to hear from you.
