PHOENIX — Departments at the former Tolleson City Hall are closed until the sites transition into a new civic center next week, city officials said.

The departments will move to 91st Avenue and Van Buren Street on Monday, less than a mile to the east of the original location.

Among those moving into the new space include the Human Services Department and Tolleson Public Library.

Water bill payments and library items can still be dropped off at the 9555 West Van Buren Street location until Sunday. After Nov. 7, payments and books can be taken to the new civic center.

Tolleson will offer bookmobile services from Monday through Wednesday in the current civic center’s parking lot from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Library services are scheduled to be unavailable from Thursday through Sunday.

Residents will find private meeting spaces, access to WiFi, public computers, a bookstore and a self-services printing, faxing and scanning center.

The senior center will be housed by human services, which will host daily activities and have a multipurpose room. The center will be ADA accessible.

Business owners seeking to obtain permits or submit plans can do so at the civic center upon opening.

We want to hear from you.
