PHOENIX – Arizona State University police are seeking the public’s help in solving a recent dorm room burglary at the Tempe campus.

ASU police released images of two people of interest in the case on Thursday.

The burglary occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 at a student housing complex near Lemon Street and McAllister Avenue.

Two people took two phones and a pair of shoes from a student’s room before fleeing, police said.

The lobby elevator and student’s front door were propped open, giving the suspects access to the room.

ASU police said theft is usually a crime of opportunity, so residents should lock their doors at night and never prop open security doors or gates.

Anybody who can identify the suspects should call the ASU police nonemergency line at 480-965-3456.

We want to hear from you.
