PHOENIX — Comedians Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle are coming to Phoenix in December as part of a U.S. arena tour.
The co-headliners will perform Dec. 5 at Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix, which is the only stop scheduled outside of California, event organizers said in a press release.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online.
There will be no cellphones, cameras or recording devices allowed at the event. Guests will be provided pouches to secure their phone during the show.
The last time Chappelle performed in the Valley was in 2017 at Comerica Theatre, while Rock more recently visited the Arizona Federal Theatre in August during his “Ego Death World Tour,” according to Setlist.fm.
Chappelle has received at least five Emmy awards and won the Grammy Award for best comedy album from 2018-20.
Rock, an actor and comedian, has starred in the Madagascar franchises, “Nurse Betty”, “Dogma” and “Everybody Hates Chris.”
