Broadway Curve Project work to again close I-10 near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport this weekend

PHOENIX — Continued work on the Broadway Curve Project will again close Interstate 10 near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport this weekend, state transportation officials said.

Westbound I-10 will be closed from the U.S. 60 to State Route 143 from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for project work.

The westbound U.S. 60 ramps to westbound I-10; westbound U.S. 60 on-ramps at McClintock Drive, Rural Road and Mill Avenue; and westbound I-10 ramps at Elliot, Baseline and Broadway roads will be closed.

Southbound SR 143 at I-10 will also be closed.

In north Phoenix, southbound Interstate 17 will be closed from Pinnacle Peak Road to Union Hills Drive from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a pavement improvement project.

Southbound I-17 ramps to Loop 101 will be closed.

In Buckeye, westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in areas between Verrado Way and Watson Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in the same place from 8 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

The ramps at Watson Road will be closed throughout the weekend.

In Queen Creek, I-10 will be narrowed to one lane from the Loop 202 Santan Freeway to Riggs Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday and also from 10 p.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday for pavement sealing.

All ramps connecting I-10 and Loop 202 will be closed at times Saturday.

Finally, the eastbound U.S. 60 ramp to southbound Loop 101 and eastbound U.S. 60 off-ramp at McClintock Road will be closed all weekend for water line repairs.
