PHOENIX — Those eager to skip the wait and get a taste of Halloween a bit early can do so this weekend in Queen Creek.

Two weeks and a day before this year’s official night of trick or treating, the Queen Creek Marketplace is scheduled to host the “Spooktacular Halloween Bash” on Sunday from 3-5 p.m.

The event, which is inviting “Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblins of all ages” to attend, will feature music, games, prizes, candy and more, according to a press release, which lists the party’s location at 20820 S. Ellsworth Rd., in Queen Creek, near Kohl’s and Ulta Beauty.

Costume contests for various age groups and families will be staged, and each winning entry will receive a $50 gift card. There also will be a green screen in place for photo ops.

We want to hear from you.
