Rollover truck crash shuts down Loop 303 near I-17 in Peoria for hours

PHOENIX – A big rig rollover shut down part of a West Valley freeway for hours Thursday as the morning commute got underway, state transportation officials said.

The wreck closed southbound Loop 303 near Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria. The freeway was closed at southbound Interstate 17.

Lanes reopened shortly before 11:30 a.m., the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

No other details were made available.
