Subject of Silver Alert found safe in the East Valley

PHOENIX – A woman who’d been the subject of a Silver Alert was found safe in Queen Creek Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Maria Christina Vasquez, 73, was found by the Queen Creek Police Department, the Gilbert Police Department said.

Vasquez has Alzheimer’s disease and had left home on foot, police said.
