PHOENIX — Police are investigating three separate overnight shootings that left four people dead in Phoenix, authorities said.

In the first incident, police received a call Saturday about a vehicle that struck a dirt mound with a person slumped over inside near 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.

When police arrived, they found 19-year-old Joshua Fletcher inside the vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.

He died from his injuries at the scene.

Police responded to another call about a man shot under a bridge around 2:30 a.m. near McDowell Road, west of State Route 51, according to a separate press release.

A man, who was identified Monday at 59-year-old Rick Wagge, was found suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.

He died from his injuries at the scene.

Police also said a man and woman were found in the back of their home near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road with gunshot wounds around 4 a.m.

Francisco Martinez Velasquez, 21, and Madali Acosta Robles, 19, died from their injuries at the scene.

All investigations are ongoing.

Anybody with information about the incidents were asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151 or, to remain anonymous, Silent Witness at 480-948-6377 or 480-837-8446 for Spanish.
