PHOENIX — Eastbound Interstate 10 reopened Thursday evening after it was closed during rush hour due to a crash, transportation officials said.
The freeway closed at the Stack at about 4 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
All eastbound traffic had to exit at the Stack.
Eastbound traffic has to get through using the right lanes, as the left lanes remain blocked.
ADOT advises motorists to seek an alternate route and to expect delays.
The westbound lanes were unaffected and there was no estimated time to reopen the freeway.
No other information was available.
It’s not the first wreck to shut down a Valley freeway on Thursday.
All lanes of southbound Interstate 17 were blocked temporarily during the morning commute because of a wreck near Dunlap Avenue in Phoenix.
