PHOENIX – A 28-year-old West Valley man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl, authorities said.

Investigators believe Omar Santana had sexual contact multiple times with the teen over several weeks and provided her with illegal drugs, the Surprise Police Department said in a press release.

Santana was booked into Maricopa County Jail on one count each of sexual conduct with a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, furnishing harmful material to a minor and luring a minor for sexual exploitation, police said.

“I am very proud of our police officers and detectives who worked tirelessly to gather the facts and evidence necessary to get this predator off the streets of our community,” Surprise Police Chief Benny Piña said in the release.
