PHOENIX — Glendale police are searching for a suspect who shot a 30-year-old motorcyclist during a road rage incident Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting happened just before 4:30 p.m. near 55th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, the Glendale Police Department said in a press release.

Police said the victim stopped his motorcycle in front of the driver of a white four-door sedan and the two were in a verbal fight.

The fight became physical and during the argument, the driver of the sedan pulled out a gun and shot the motorcyclist.

The suspect drove away, traveling westbound on Bethany Home Road.

He was described as a man in his late teens or early 20s.

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000.
