Drivers were encouraged to avoid heading into a dust storm and to pull off the road and wait for the dust to pass as visibility could drop to zero in seconds.
There was a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday night, with wind gusts possibly reaching as high as 30 mph.
