PHOENIX — Girl Scouts in Arizona announced earlier this month it will offer a new chocolate-dipped, raspberry-flavored cookie exclusively online during its 2023 season.

The Raspberry Rally cookie is a thin, crispy treat that will be available for online direct shipment only from Jan. 16 through Feb. 26, the Girl Scouts — Arizona Cactus-Pine Council said in a press release.

The organization created the online digital platform in an effort to enhance the members’ e-commerce sales and entrepreneurial skills.

“The Girl Scout Cookie Program is all about teaching entrepreneurship. When searching for new opportunities for girls, Girl Scouts of the United States considered simplicity, new skills and building overall excitement for everyone,” Christina Spicer, co-CEO of GSACPC, said in the release.

“Having an online-exclusive cookie enables Girl Scouts to learn entrepreneurship through their own online businesses by building relevant omni-channel selling skills, pitching to customers online, and providing convenience to purchasers.”

Through the digital platform, which has been in use since 2016, buyers will have the option to have the cookies delivered in-person or shipped directly to their home.

The new raspberry cookie will add to the list of items sold, including samoas, thin mints and trefoils.

We want to hear from you.
