Silver Alert canceled for Peoria man with memory problems

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert was canceled Saturday for a Peoria man who has been found safe after being missing since Tuesday, authorities said.

Gary Moddrell was last known to have been at home near 109th Avenue and Union Hills Drive around 8:30 p.m., the Peoria Police Department said.

Family members told police they were unable to find Moddrell, 86, on their own.

Moddrell has memory problems. He stand 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes and was wearing a burgundy shirt and black pants.
