PHOENIX — A familiar act to the Birds Nest will headline the fourth and final night of the concert series at the 2023 WM Phoenix Open.
The Chainsmokers, a Grammy Award-winning DJ duo, will perform Saturday, Feb. 11. Gryffin, another DJ, will be the opener on the night.
“The Chainsmokers put on an electric show at the Coors Light Birds Nest back in 2019 and we are excited to have them back again for a second time,” Pat Williams, tournament chairman for the 2023 event in Scottsdale, said in a press release.
“This is just the first of four big-name artists and performers we plan on hosting here this year and we can’t wait to unveil the rest of the lineup in the coming months.”
The WM Phoenix Open will go from Feb. 9-12 next year.
The Chainsmokers haven’t performed in Arizona since the 2019 golf event.
Tickets for the show are on sale and start at $75 for general admission. VIP seats go for $275.
Doors each day at the Birds Nest, located directly across from the main WM Phoenix Open tournament entrance at 82nd Street and Bell Road, will open at 3:30 p.m.
The 48,000-square-foot venue will have games, food and beverage options, and other entertainment before the opening performance takes the stage around 6:30 p.m.
Main acts will begin performing around 8:30 p.m.
WM Phoenix Open said headliners for the other three nights will be announced soon.
The Birds Nest, sponsored by Coors Light, requires attendees to be at least 21 years old.
Super Bowl LVII will also be in the Valley that weekend, with the game scheduled for Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
