PHOENIX — Builders in the West Valley broke ground Monday on an industrial park suited to meet manufacturing and supply chain needs, they said.
Hatcher Industrial Park will be built along Glendale’s Loop 303 corridor near Indian School Road and will include two buildings totaling more than 906,000 square feet, developers announced in a press release.
The project is set to be completed by June 2023.
“Given historically low vacancy rates, this is the ideal time to bring more speculative industrial space to the market,” Josh Tracy, vice president of Ryan Companies, the leader real estate developers on the project, said in the release.
“Companies are looking for space that is adaptable to their evolving needs and they need it fast.”
Commercial real estate investment company Westcore will collaborate on the project.
“The Phoenix industrial market remains one of the hottest markets in the U.S., and we are bullish that this well-designed, state-of-the-art project will attract strong tenants,” Hack Adams, managing director for Westcore, said in the release.
Other developments underway along the corridor include construction on Luke Field, Park303 and the Virgin Industrial Park.
