PHOENIX — Police will conduct a mass casualty event training closed to the public at a nightclub in Old Town Scottsdale Wednesday night, authorities said.
Training will begin at 9 p.m. at Cake Nightclub on Camelback and Scottsdale roads and last through 1 a.m., the Scottsdale Police Department said.
The reality-based training is in collaboration with Riot Hospitality Group and is meant to be a learning environment for officers and the employees from the RHG.
The objective of the training is for officers to continue to train their repose to a mass casualty event, such as an active shooter, the release said.
