Silver Alert canceled for 83-year-old woman last seen in Mesa

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert Saturday morning after locating an 83-year-old woman with a medical condition who was last seen in Mesa.

Gloria Johnson stands 5-foot-5, weighs 130 pounds, has grey hair, hazel eyes and was wearing a white shirt with a red stripe and black pants.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office pulled the Silver Alert after safely locating Johnson.

Johnson is 100% hearing impaired and can only communicate through sign language, pen and paper, and text. She also has undiagnosed early-onset dementia.

No further details where made available on where Johnson was found and she’s believed to be in good health.
