PHOENIX — Work related to the Broadway Curve Improvement Project will result in multiple restrictions this weekend, including a closure of Interstate 10 in the East Valley.

Westbound I-10 is scheduled to be closed between the Loop 202 Santan Freeway and the U.S. 60 Superstition Freeway from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for work zone preparation, the Arizona Department of Transportation said in a press release.

Also closed for the project are westbound I-10 on-ramps between Chandler Boulevard and Elliot Road, Loop 202 South Mountain and Santan freeways ramps to westbound I-10 and the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Wild Horse Pass.

In the same area, eastbound I-10 is set to be narrowed to two lanes at Elliot Road from 3 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Saturday for barrier work.

The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Elliot Road will be closed for the project.

Barrier work will also narrow eastbound I-10 to three lanes between Warner and Ray roads from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Warner Road and eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Ray Road will be closed for the project.

Also in the East Valley, the northbound Loop 101 Price Freeway on-ramp at Southern Avenue, the on- and off-ramps at Broadway Road and the off-ramp at University Drive are all set to be closed from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for maintenance work.

Near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, eastbound I-10 is scheduled to be narrowed to three lanes at 24th Street from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday for sign structure installation.
