PHOENIX — The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help find a man accused in a fatal shooting on Monday.

Oscar Valencia, 40, of Tucson, is accused in the shooting death of a 39-year-old man just after 9:30 p.m. near Arcadia Drive and State Route 77 in Winkelman, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

A 38-year-old woman, who Valencia allegedly knew, also sustained a superficial gunshot wound in the incident, authorities said.

Valencia allegedly fled southbound on State Route 77 in a silver 2014 Jeep Patriot with an Arizona license plate of DDA1AXA.

He was last seen wearing all black clothing with a black hat and is considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.

People who may be able to help locate Valencia and/or his vehicle are asked to call 911 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377).
