Phoenix police seek information on death of man found shot on bridge near I-10

PHOENIX — Police are investigating the death of a man who was found shot to death on a bridge that goes over the I-10 freeway in Phoenix on Thursday.

Officers responded to the pedestrian bridge located at 11th Avenue and Moreland Street around 3:30 a.m. and found a man in his late 30’s who had been shot, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.

They gave aid to man, who has not been identified pending notification of next of kin, until fire personnel arrived.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
