Silver Alert canceled for 78-year-old man found in Pinal County

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Saturday evening for a 78-year-old man who was found in the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiciton, authorities said.

Howard Everett McReynolds stands 5-foot-8 and weighs 220 pounds with blue eyes and grey hair was last seen leaving his home Friday afternoon near Lower Buckeye and El Mirage roads driving a black 2004 two-door Ford F-150.

He was taken to the local hospital for precautionary measures and his family was notified, according to authorities.

McReynolds has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

The last cell phone ping for McReynolds was south of Arizona City and west of Picacho Peak, according to Avondale police.
