PHOENIX — People will be able to shop unique handmade items from nearly 100 local artisans when the largest home show in the Southwest returns to Glendale in July.

The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show takes place from July 15-17 at State Farm Stadium, with one of the attractions being the Artisan Marketplace which features various items like unique cutting boards, wood puzzles, handcrafted jewelry and distinctive works of art.

“Whether you are looking for unique gifts, home décor or inspiration for your artistic side, the Artisan Marketplace has something for everybody,” Katie Jones, home show manager, said in a press release.

“The marketplace will include hand-poured candles, wood sculptures, hand-stitched creations and more.”

There are also hundreds of home improvement, design and landscaping products and services offered at a special price at the event, the organization said.

The home show is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. General admission tickets cost $10 for adults, while kids ages 3-12 are $3 and children age 2 and younger are free. There are also various discounts available for tickets and more information can be found on the organization’s website.

Other attractions of the show are free make-and-take crafts, DIY demos and seminars all weekend long, as well as the chance to ask a master gardener about everything from container gardens to vegetables and succulents, the organization said.

People can also receive a free landscape consultation with professionals and a take-home design. Those who participate are asked to bring existing backyard pictures and measurements.

We want to hear from you.
