PHOENIX — Valley drivers will have to detour around multiple closures on Interstate 10 this weekend.

In the south Valley, eastbound I-10 will be closed between the U.S. 60 Superstition Freeway and the Loop 202 Santan Freeway from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for work on the Broadway Curve Improvement Project, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

Also closed for the project are the westbound U.S. 60 ramp to eastbound I-10 and the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Broadway Road.

The westbound lanes of the freeway will then close between the Loop 202 Santan Freeway and U.S. 60 Superstition Freeway from 8 p.m. Saturday to noon on Sunday.

All Loop 202 ramps to westbound I-10 in the Ahwatukee and Chandler area are set to be closed during that time, as well as the westbound I-10 on-ramps at Wild Horse Pass and Chandler boulevards.

Drivers should also be aware of westbound I-10 being narrowed to two lanes between Elliot and Baseline roads from noon Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday.

Near downtown Phoenix, eastbound I-10 will be closed between the I-17 Stack interchange and the State Route 51 mini-stack interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday for tunnel maintenance.

Both I-17 ramps to eastbound I-10 at the stack will also be closed.

The freeway’s westbound lanes are then scheduled to be closed between the I-17 split interchange and Seventh Avenue from 9 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday.

Also closed during that time is the southbound State Route 51 ramp to westbound I-10 and the southbound I-17 ramp to westbound I-10.

The westbound Loop 202 ramp to westbound I-10 will remain open, but traffic must exit the highway at Seventh Street, ADOT said.

Drivers can also use the westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard ramp to westbound I-10 but must exit to northbound State Route 51 or eastbound Loop 202.

In the West Valley, westbound I-10 will be closed between the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway and 107th Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge deck joint construction.

The southbound Loop 101 ramp to westbound I-10, the westbound I-10 on-ramps at 75th and 83rd avenues, as well as the southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Thomas Road will all be closed.

In the southeast Valley, the eastbound State Route 24 Gateway Freeway is set to be closed between the Loop 202 Santan Freeway and Ellsworth Road from 5 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday for pavement maintenance.

In the North Valley, westbound Greenway Road remains closed near I-17 until late June, as well as the northbound I-17 off- and on-ramps and southbound off-ramp at Greenway Road.
