PHOENIX — Check those lottery tickets because one lucky winner in Glendale is set to add five figures to their financial portfolio.

A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold Wednesday at the Safeway fuel station located near Happy Valley Road and 39th Avenue.

The winning numbers for the draw were 19, 28, 41, 42 and 51 with a Powerball of 7.

The $50,000 prize is attained when a player correctly matches four of the five numbers.

There’s a 1 in 913,129 chance to hit the five-figure prize, good odds compared to the jackpot chances of 1 in 292,201,338.

The next Powerball drawing will take place Saturday with a jackpot of $279 million.

Before then, check your old Arizona Lottery tickets to make sure you didn’t miss a winner.

There are several unclaimed prizes, including a million dollar Powerball ticket from March 5 and a pair of The Pick jackpot winners.

Unclaimed prizes expire after six months and can be viewed online.

We want to hear from you.
