PHOENIX — Hamburger chain Fatburger, along with sister wing brand Buffalo’s Express, is set to hold a grand opening celebration this month for its new location at Arizona Mills in Tempe.

While the restaurant is already serving up burgers and chicken wings at the mall near Interstate 10 and U.S. 60, the celebration will be held on June 30.

The location is open Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

The first 100 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a free Original Fatburger.

Fatburger, which debuted in Los Angeles 70 years ago, offers various-sized hamburgers with different toppings, fries, onion rings, milkshakes and vegan milkshakes.

Voracious diners can also try to devour the restaurant’s XXXL Challenge, which features a 1.5-pound burger, and be honored with a picture on the wall.

Buffalo’s Express offers bone-in or boneless chicken wings serving sizes from six to 24.

More information can be found on the Fatburger website.
