PHOENIX — As the Ambiente landscape hotel in Sedona prepares for opening later this year, new details are emerging about what the property has to offer visitors.
Slated to open this summer with 40 cubed-shaped atriums, the hotel located at 900 W. State Route 89A, will also open the doors to its Velvet Spa, where a variety of restorative treatments will be provided, according to a press release.
The spa, located at the entrance of the three-acre property, will feature three bedrooms where visitors can request services, including the vibro-acoustic sound lounge, the nano-oxygenated hydrotherapy soaking room and the outdoor infrared sauna.
For those seeking a full-body and auditory experience, the vibro-acoustic sound lounge creates an atmosphere of sound, music and light.
The hydrotherapy soaking room will present Japanese-style soaking tubs that can fit one couple or two solo guests and will feature nano-oxygenated water to enhance benefits which range from increased metabolism and blood oxygen to decreased inflammation and pain.
For guests wanting an experience under the stars, massage therapists will stop by upon request for a single or couples therapy massage that will take place on the rooftop of the guest’s private atrium.
Wellness offerings at the Velvet Spa were curated by Jennifer May, co-owner of Two Sister Bosses, the developer of Ambiente. May’s background as a professional aesthetician for over 20 years influenced the development of the treatment options, the release said.
Other amenities include courtesy valet parking, room service, soaking tubs for two, bedside motorized blackout shades and private rooftop decks with daybeds and firepits, the release said.
Room rates at Ambiente will start at $1,500 per night and will adjust seasonally.
