Crash closes down westbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway in Phoenix

PHOENIX –A crash closed down part of the Loop 101 Pima Freeway in Phoenix on Saturday for multiple hours, authorities said.

The closure was westbound on the freeway at 7th Street and was in effect around 11:25 a.m. until about 2:05 p.m, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The eastbound lanes were unaffected by the crash.

Motorists were advised to expect delays and to seek alternate routes.
