PHOENIX — Summer means BBQ, music and fun, and Bell Bank Park in Mesa plans to deliver on all three with a free concert series.

The “Summer Nights at Bell Bank Park” concert series takes place June 18, July 9 and Aug. 20 at the sports and entertainment complex located at Ellsworth and Pecos roads near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

Organizers in a press release said the family-friendly concert series will feel like a backyard barbecue complete with live country music, BBQ favorites cooked on the complex’s outdoor grill, games, water sports and an obstacle course.

The events take place at Bell Bank Park’s Tixr Yard from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night.

“We are always looking for ways to bring friends and family together at Bell Bank Park and we think Summer Nights is a perfect way to do that,” Legacy Sports USA President Brett Miller said in the release.

“We are excited to kick this off and can’t wait to see everyone out here.”

Musical guests scheduled for the concert series are Josh Roy (June 18), Western Fusion and Nick Moody (July 9) and Chad Freeman (Aug. 20).

The G.O.A.T Restaurant and Sports Bar will also be available for additional food and beverage choices, organizers said, as well as the complex’s arcade and gaming center that has more than 70 games.

We want to hear from you.

Interest rates may have peaked. Should you buy a CD, high-yield savings account, or a fixed annuity?

Interest rates are the highest they’ve been in decades, and it looks like the Fed has paused hikes. This may be the best time to lock in rates for long-term, low-risk financial products like fixed annuities.
