Restrictions scattered across metro Phoenix freeways this weekend

PHOENIX — While there are no extended closures on metro Phoenix freeways scheduled for this weekend, drivers are advised to be aware of multiple restrictions across the Valley.
In north Phoenix, northbound Interstate 17 off- and on-ramps and the southbound I-17 off-ramp will be closed at Greenway Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a regional drainage system project, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
In Tempe, work on the Broadway Curve Improvement Project will close Broadway Road in both directions between 48th and 52nd streets from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.
Also closed for the project are the Interstate 10 connector ramp between 48th Street and Broadway Road, as well as the I-10 westbound off-ramp at Broadway Road.

In the East Valley, eastbound I-10 is scheduled to be closed at 99th Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for bridge deck joint work.
Eastbound I-10 on-ramps at Dysart Road, Fairway Drive and Avondale Boulevard are also set to be closed overnight for the project.
In the southeast Valley, the westbound State Route 24 Gateway Freeway between Ellsworth Road and the Loop 202 Santan Freeway will be closed from 5 p.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday for pavement maintenance.

South of Chandler, westbound I-10 is scheduled to be narrowed to one lane overnight at the Gila River Bridge west of State Route 587 from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday for barrier wall repairs.
ADOT advises drivers to expect restrictions at times during the project at Mountain View Road, Superstition Mountain Drive, Mountainbrook Drive, Kings Ranch Road and Peralta Road.
