Planet Fitness opens its second location in Glendale, 34th overall in Valley

PHOENIX — Planet Fitness recently opened its second location in Glendale and 34th overall in metro Phoenix.
The 19,000-square-foot club at 4414 W. Cactus Road features multiple cardio machines and strength equipment, a cardio theatre with flat-screen TVs and fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, according to a press release.
Hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It also offers features people have come to know the chain by at its other locations not only in the Valley but across the country, such as the 30-Minute Circuit and Black Card membership that includes HydroMassage loungers, tanning beds and massage chairs.
A regular membership costs $10 per month and comes with free WiFi access, while the Black Card is $24.99 per month.

Planet Fitness, in honor of the grand opening of its newest club, also donated $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, according to the release.
