Silver Alert canceled for man last seen Friday in Sun City

A Silver Alert was canceled for a man that was last seen on Friday in Sun City after he was located safely, authorities said.

Charles Michael Vega weighs 150 pounds and stands at 5-foot-8 with grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen at 7 a.m. near 130th Avenue and Prospect Drive.

It is believed that Vega left in his white 1999 Toyota Camry after he left a note for the neighbors saying he would not return to the area, authorities said.

He could suffer from an unknown physical ailment and has not contacted any family members.

No additional information was made available.
