Eastbound I-10 lanes in tunnel near downtown Phoenix reopens after crash

PHOENIX — The eastbound Interstate 10 lanes in the tunnel near downtown Phoenix were closed Thursday afternoon for about an hour and a half due to a crash, authorities said.
The freeway closed at about 3 p.m. because of the accident that happened near Seventh Avenue, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The roadway reopened at about 4:30 p.m., according to ADOT.
UPDATE: I-10 eastbound in the tunnel is now open.
However, the left lanes remain blocked.

Eastbound traffic had to exit at Seventh Avenue.
