PHOENIX — A company that designs and sells short-distance mobility vehicles last week announced the opening of its first flagship store in Phoenix.
WHILL opened on May 21 at 4525 N. 24th Street, allowing customers to test-drive the products in person on a custom-built track that includes pavers, grass, gravel, bumps and curbs.
The store will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays and Mondays are also available by appointment.
Doug Mykol, WHILL’s Arizona distributor and head of the company’s new Phoenix flagship store, said in a press release that the business model until now has been to take the product to the customer so they can test drive it in their home.
“We have been remodeling and building out the location for several months,” Mykol said. “We are very proud of what we’ve built and what the store can offer the customer.
“The in-home test drives have been very well received. Even with our new flagship store, we will continue to offer this unique customer service.”
More information, including the various accessories available to purchase for the products, can be found on the company’s website.
