PHOENIX — Phoenix Fan Fusion makes its return this weekend after being postponed multiple times over the past few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The celebration of all things pop culture takes place at the Phoenix Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

A full schedule events can be found online.

The last Phoenix Fan Fusion took place in May 2019. Passes purchased for the events postponed from 2020, 2021 or January 2022 are good for this weekend, organizers said.

Memberships, which the event uses instead of passes, are available online only for the entire weekend or just one day. Autographs and selfies or photo ops with special guests of the event can be bought separately.

More than 600 vendors, artists, creators, dealers and publishers are scheduled to be part of the Exhibitor Hall and Hall of Heroes, offering a place for people to shop, see costumes or even meet their favorite heroes.

Various guests from some of pop culture’s most treasured franchises are set to make an appearance, including Chuck Norris (“Walker Texas Ranger”), Billy West (“Futurama,” “Ren and Stimpy” and “Scooby-Doo”), Jim Cummings (“Winnie the Pooh”), Jodi Benson (“The Little Mermaid”), John DiMaggio (“Futurama,” “Adventure Time” and “Gears of War”), Diane Guerrero (“Encanto,” “Orange is The New Black”) and Patrick Warburton (“Family Guy” and “The Emperor’s New Groove”).

There are also panels, activities and events covering various genres, such as Marvel and DC, Disney, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Star Wars, anime and gaming.

More information including costume and prop rules, parking and eating options can be viewed on the event’s website.

We want to hear from you.
