PHOENIX – Flower Child is bringing its healthy dining options to Chandler, adding a sixth Valley location to the fast-casual eatery’s portfolio.
Parent company Fox Restaurant Concepts announced Thursday that the second Flower Child in the East Valley will set up shop in The Shoppes at Casa Paloma, an outdoor mall at Ray Road and 56th Street.
The official opening date hasn’t been determined.
The restaurant’s menu features a variety of salads, bowls, wraps and entrees, including plenty of vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten-free options.
The first East Valley Flower Child opened in Gilbert last year, joining three in Phoenix (Arcadia, Desert Ridge and Uptown Plaza) and one in Scottsdale. In addition, the first Arizona location outside the Valley is set to debut in Tucson later this year.
Fox tested a takeout-only Flower Child in Tempe in early 2021, but that turned out to be a short-lived experiment.
Including Arizona, the brand has branches in 10 states and the District Columbia.
Phoenix-based Fox Restaurant Concepts operates multiple successful brands, both locally and across the nation, including Culinary Dropout, North Italia, Zinburger, and Doughbird.
Sam Fox’s company was purchased by the Cheesecake Factory in 2019.
Fox is also branching out beyond the restaurant business by developing The Global Ambassador, a luxury hotel set to open next year in The Grove, a multi-use project at Camelback Road and 44th Street in Phoenix.
