PHOENIX — The wins keep coming for those playing the lottery in metro Phoenix.

A $50,000 ticket from Saturday’s Powerball drawing was sold at a Fry’s Food Stores location in Gilbert.

The winner matched four out of the five numbers and the Powerball.

The winning numbers were 4, 5, 6, 28 and 67 with a Powerball number of 10.

Winners must claim their prizes within 180 days of the drawing date.

It was the latest in a string of lottery winners in the Valley and across Arizona.

The spree started when a ticket sold at the Big AZ Market in Bullhead City hit for $30,000 in the April 22 Mega Millions game.

The next day, a Powerball ticket sold at the Circle K on Riverside Drive in Parker matched five numbers but missed the red Powerball, making it worth $1 million.

A ticket sold at the Safeway in Fort Mohave for the same game matched four numbers plus the Powerball, netting a $50,000 payout.

Also on that day, two players entries split the $137,000 jackpot for matching all five numbers in Arizona’s Fantasy 5 drawing. One ticket was purchased at the Circle K on Thomas Road near Interstate 17 in Phoenix. The other was purchased at the Safeway at Valencia Road and Cardinal Avenue in Tucson.

The hot streak continued two days later, when a Powerball ticket sold at the Shell at Northern and 91st avenues hit for $100,000 by matching four of the five numbers and the Powerball.

On April 27, a Powerball player won $473 million on a ticket sold at a QuikTrip convenience store in Gilbert near Gilbert and Warner roads.

It was the biggest single-ticket jackpot ever sold in Arizona.
