PHOENIX – Online used auto retailer Carvana has expanded touchless, fast home delivery to another Arizona city, the fourth in the state.
The Tempe-based seller said the quick delivery option to the Flagstaff area hit the road earlier this week. Vehicles can arrive at their destinations as soon as the next day.
Flagstaff joins Phoenix, Tucson and Sierra Vista on the list of Arizona cities where the express delivery is available.
“We’re confident Flagstaff will appreciate the ease, convenience and value that comes with purchasing your car online and having it delivered to your doorstep as soon as the next day,” Carvana CEO Ernie Garcia said Tuesday in a press release.
Carvana said it offers the quick-delivery service to customers in 315 American cities. A spokesperson told KTAR News 92.3 FM the locations are chosen based partially on population and demand and that that there are plans for further expansion in Arizona.
The company opened in 2012 and gained attention for displaying vehicles from a huge, see-through vending machine-like structures, including one in Tempe.
