PHOENIX – Traffic at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport was backed up Wednesday because of a death investigation, authorities said.

Eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard was restricted near Terminal 4 while an investigation into a man’s death was being conducted, the Phoenix Police Department said.

Around 10:15 a.m., airport officials issued a warning about traffic congestion and suggested using the 44th Street PHX Sky Train station for pickups and drop-offs.

No other information was immediately available.
